Images of America - Around and About Basking Ridge, Liberty Corner, and Lyons by June O. Kennedy

The re-release commorative edition "Around and About - Basking Ridge, Liberty Corner, and Lyons will be a limited release and only available from the Historical Society of the Somerset Hills at their Brick Academy home starting on May 15, 2010 commorating the 250th Bernards Township Charter Day celebration.

This 146 page collectible will contain over 150 classic historic images, while history, and storytelling come alive in this commorative reprint of the 1995 sold out book from Arcadia Publishing.

The Historical Society's limited edition will include a new update written by Bernards Township's Town Historian June Kennedy to celebrate Bernards' 250th Anniversary, covering the fifteen years since her book was first published.

Farmstead Prints

Annette Novoa, a local watercolor artist and member of the Friends of the Kennedy-Martin-Stelle Farmstead, has arranged to sell limited edition prints of three different paintings done at the Farmstead. Novoa proposed the print sale as the perfect way to highlight the connection between art and the bucolic farmstead setting. "It's a wonderful opportunity for those who would like a way to support the efforts of the friends of the Farmstead while also purchasing a beautiful limited edition print."
