It's Nomination Time!
The 2008 Historic Preservation Awards
In 2003, the Historic Preservation Committee of the Historical Society
of the Somerset Hills was created to carry out informational and
educational efforts to promote historic preservation in the Somerset
Hills. The committee works to actively
involve residents in preserving
historic buildings and enhancing neighborhood character.
The committee is pleased to announce the commencement of the fifth annual awards to recognize local historic preservation projects through out the Somerset Hills area.
This year the program will again include projects anywhere within the Somerset Hills towns of Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone, Bedminster, Bernardsville and Bernards Township.
Over the years, awards have been given to a wide variety of realistic and practical preservation projects that have successfully preserved and adapted familiar landmarks throughout the five communities. If you'd like to see some of the previous winners of THSSH's award winners - Click Here.
