Nomination Process for Historic Preservation Awards in the Somerset Hills.

It's never too early to start thinking who's worthy of this coveted award!

The next nomination cycle for the Historic Preservation Awards will be for 2010.

In 2003, the Historic Preservation Committee of the Historical Society of the Somerset Hills was created to carry out informational and educational efforts to promote historic preservation in the Somerset Hills. The committee works to actively altinvolve residents in preserving historic buildings and enhancing neighborhood character.

The committee is pleased to announce the commencement of the sixth Historic Preservation Awards (HPA) to recognize local historic preservation projects through out the Somerset Hills area.

The program will again include projects anywhere within the Somerset Hills towns of Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone, Bedminster, Bernardsville and Bernards Township.

Over the years, awards have been given to a wide variety of realistic and practical preservation projects that have successfully preserved and adapted familiar landmarks throughout the five Somerset Hills communities.
