Historic Preservation
Created in 2003, the purpose of the Historic Preservation
Committee is to share information with area residents about
the value and importance of our historic resources, and to offer
guidance to historic property owners who are planning renovation
or restoration projects. Since it's inception, the committee
has been asked for input on numerous local projects involving
historic building, and it has been rewarding to work with long
time homeowners and new home buyers as they make their plans.
In response to the many questions that have arisen, the committee
has developed a set of voluntary historic preservation guidelines
that you may find helpful.
