The Kenilwood Estate: Bernardsville Mountain - built and designed by architect George B. Post originally as a wedding gift for his daughter Harriet to Thornton Wilson. Built in 1896-1897 but there have been numerous fires that have destroyed the estate over the years. While this is one of the most beautiful examples of Gothic Revival architecture in America, it remained in the Post family until 1988 when it was sold to Mike Tyson and Robin Givens. Seen during a Barbara Walters special, the house was later sold again after Mike Tyson ran into financial troubles. Currently the house is under the ownership Curtis Jackson, known in the R&B/hip-hop/rap music world as "fitty cent". Source: Turpin Real Estate and Images of America:In the Somerset Hills.
