Liberty Corner Elementary School. Circa 1905, the village long suffered from cramped school conditions. The new building had two large rooms, measuring 24 by 28 feet with very high 12 foot ceilings. Total Cost was $7,600. In 1915 another room and an additional teacher were added because of the closing of the Pleasant Valley School. Since then, Mount Prospect, Cedar Hill, Oak Street schools have all been built. The Liberty Corner school houses grades K-5 and it recently celebrated its 100th birthday.
